The enemy is always out there trying to lie and deceive not only the world, but also the Christians who are witnessing to the unsaved world.

One of satan's best kept secrets (deceptions) to the Christians who are really saved is to have you witness to an unbeliever by telling him or her only the good things, such as "Jesus loves you", "Ask Him into your heart and you will be saved", or "You're going to have peace and joy unspeakable."

While all those good things are true, yet we are to pray for the one your leading to the Lord to have a teachable spirit and obey Holy Spirit so he/she will see the great love of God and how much he really cares for them even though he/she has sinned and has a need to be saved.

We do not need backslidden Christians in this age which we live - we need believers who know Jesus and have a wonderful relationship with him.

Jesus is not returning for the Church until the last one has heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and has had an opportunity to choose Jesus as Savior.

Each of us need to do our part to bring the gospel to the lost and the backslidden.

It is WISDOM to win souls and lay up treasure in heaven. Jesus is delighted when we lead a sinner to such a great salvation that God has for us all - if we will receive it by believing on Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior.

Do you realize how many backslidden Christians are out there? Who never knew they were supposed to live a repentant life and let God change them into holy people so they can "Go tell" and bring in the last one who needs to hear about the great salvation God has provided for them.

It is lacking knowledge of God's word even though they say they truly love Jesus...
Often it was the fault of the one who led them to Jesus who neglected to inform them of what to do to grow spiritually and know Holy Spirit.

How can we love Jesus and have the lack of knowledge of Him? We can read the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and know Jesus more and more.

Often times it seems Christians who do know they need to ask for forgiveness and repent (change from glory to glory) do not receive Holy Spirit's leading them to repentance since they spend little time in God's word.

Those who do know of God's Love,God's Grace and God's Mercy, still never presented the truth to those needing Jesus as Savior and to backslidden folks that: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" -

If we as believers only present the Love of God and not His Gospel to the backslidden or to the lost they lack the desire to change and grow line upon line, precept upon precept into the glory of God.

They really never came to the Lord for the right reasons. They were often persons who became disillusioned after they said the sinner's prayer, once the enemy began his attack on them, and left, saying, "Who needs this kind of Christian life?"
Salvation was not real to them because they did not come into it correctly, seeing they were sinners who needed to REPENT and be saved from the terrible Judgment Day of the Lord and that God loves them and this is what all His people must do to be saved.

Often it is hard to bring a rich person who has everything to the Lord by telling him or her all that being saved can do for him/her. He'll say, "What do I need that Christian stuff for? I'm blessed already. What more peace could one have than I do already - knowing my bills are paid and I can go the best doctors if I get ill, etc.?" Yet if you let that rich person see by the Law of the Lord how poor he or she is going to be on God's Judgment Day due to all the sin and idols in his/her life, it can make a big difference in that life.

As an example take for instance a new soldier going off to war in a land far from home for the first time. He is scared going into the unknown since he knows he is going into a real war and could be killed. He knows his life has not been like it should be. This soldier knows he is a sinner. They say there are many foxhole real conversions into Christianity because the soldier sees the end of life can be near for him and he wants to be right with God.

Christians, let us present the whole gospel, including the love of God and the need for repentance, when witnessing to the unsaved world. Let's stop the backsliding from the Church by doing our part God's way when we witness to the world.
